One Christmas, my mom thought she would play a trick on me. This was when I had my first boy-friend and he was here when we opened our presents.

I got a really big box and the card said....for the girl who lost her head over Micheal. I started unwrapping the present. Inside was another box and then another. After the forth box there was a shoe-box wrapped up in pretty paper an a big bow.

Dad got his video camera out as the room watched me unwrap this last box. I opened it to find a chicken head (mom had dressed chickens the night before) The room exploded with laughter while I felt myself blush.

Needless to say, that was the beginning of the gag gifts in our family. I am still waiting to get even.
