I have recieved some pretty awful presents in my lifetime, but the worst one I gave to others. I was just learning how to home can fruits and vegetables and was getting pretty good at it.

So, for Christmas I decided to make my famous potato soup and give it away as Christmas presents.

I didn't realize that the sour cream would spoil even in the sealed jars without refridgeration, until some of the recipients had called me to say that they had gotten sick from it.
