When I was about 14, we didn't have a telephone. The only thing I asked my parents for that year was a phone. I was so excited christmas morning when I opened one gift, and saw the word telephone on the back of the box! I thanked them over and over and was all ready to plug it in.

My mother says, "I think you better take a closer look at that phone!" My step-dad was pissing himself laughing, and I couldn't figure out why.

I opened the box, and looked in horror at a cheap plastic pink TOY phone. (I guess that's what a princess phone is, eh?) Well, my parents thought it was just hilarious, meanwhile, I had to leave the room, and spent the day locked in my bedroom.

I think that was one of the worst pranks ever played on me.
