I'd have to say the worst gift I'd ever gotten would be from my grandma....year after year after year after year. I'd imagine it's because she survived the years of the depression, but you'd never know she was filthy rich.

She does all of her Christmas shopping the day AFTER Christmas the YEAR before. So every year we'd get nasty wool skirts and too-small sweaters that we would NEVER wear.

And, amazingly, we'd get the same Christmas cards as last year, because after she let us open them, she'd collect them all and save them for next year along with all of the carefully folded, used wrapping paper. I guess these are all of the reasons why she does have money!!!
