My husband, is a very practical man and yet very generous. Every year at Christmas it seems as he takes inventory of the household appliances and decides what he gets me for Christmas.
Come on guys, where is the personal gift of love here, not that I didn't like the new vaccum cleaner, or the microwave, or the dryer. One year pots and pans, because he didn't like the way the coating came off the frying pans. It seems to me that this sort of gifts means we should work, or its a cheap way to replace things that have to be anyway.
What ever I get, shortly becomes not just mine but everyone's. Like the vacuum, the microwave, the frying pan. Meanwhile they are enjoying their personal fishing rod, their personal hunting equipment ect.
This year i'll probably get sheets and pillowcases, since he mentioned we need some new ones. I am sure many women are going through the same thing. My Christmas wish is that I hope he gets the hint I want something I don't have to share with everyone in the house, or work in the house with.
